Toy safety
When selecting toys to use with an infant it is important to be aware of any safety concerns. Always consider the following safety considerations:
Toys must:
- be robust and have no small parts/batteries which can come loose (i.e. button batteries).
- not have sharp edges or points.
- be wipeable and able to be cleaned (unless single use).
- be made of non-toxic materials as they are likely to be mouthed/sucked.
