Factors contributing to the ‘just right’ challenge
To formulate a 'just right' challenge, occupational therapists combine their understanding of:
- The child
- The occupation (task)
- The environment
Where required, occupational therapists manipulate and adapt factors relating to the environment, the occupation (task) and the child to elicit this just right challenge and promote the child’s best performance.
