Welcome to Module 3 of the Paediatric Occupational Therapy Burns Course: Pre-contact information gathering.

Pre-contact information gathering is an important process that will inform your initial and future sessions with a paediatric patient who has a burn. Pre-contact information gathering is important to enable you to learn more about the child and their family in addition to gathering details of the burn.

This module aims to provide an understanding of the pre-contact information gathering process for a paediatric burns patient.
