Regime:

  • Can be used on closed/healed scar tissue – either mature or active scarring.
  • Child/family to apply as per personal preference and manufacturers guidelines.
  • Some children/teens will use for special occasions due to time to apply (i.e. formal, birthday party, school dance).
  • It is important children and families are aware these products are available for immediate or future use which can be provided as a part of your routine scar management education.

Precautions:

  • Use on closed/healed skin only.
  • Skin reactions to products – refer to manufacturer’s guidelines and likely test patch first (especially if using on active scarring)
