Welcome to Module 11 of the Paediatric Occupational Therapy Burns Course: Altered sensation and burn itch.
This module aims to provide an understanding of the impact burns can have on sensation, and what can be done to minimise these effects.

Following completion of this module the learner should be able to recall:
- how burns cause changes to sensation and factors influencing this change
- when to intervene in altered sensation
- what options are available to minimise itch, altered sensation and pain.
