The National Inpatient Medication Chart

The National Inpatient Medication Chart (NIMC) is part of a suite of National standard medication charts.

The NIMC is a standardised tool for communicating patient medication information consistently between health professionals. It is based on standardised processes for medication prescribing, dispensing, administration and reconciliation in health service organisations.

Additional education on use of the National standard medication charts are available through the National Prescribing Service.
