Simulations can be run using many methods. These methods need to be carefully chosen and are determined by the skills being taught or progressed, the skill and experience level of the participants, and the equipment available.
Some of these methods are:
- Skills and drills,
- Facilitator-led scenarios,
- Pause-and-discuss scenarios, and
- Immersive scenarios.
