Airway Management Procedures
The following airway management procedures may be performed:
- Bag-mask ventilation
Warning: Do not provide artificial respiration to the patient simulator using oxygen enriched air or flammable gases. - Orotracheal intubation
- Nasotracheal intubation
- Transtracheal intubation
- Needle/Surgical cricothyrotomy
The following information is automatically registered in the ALS Simulator session log:
- Detection of head tilt, chin lift and jaw thrust
- CPR started; stopped
- Ventilation started ; stopped
- Palpation of carotid, brachial and radial pulses
- Manual NBP performed
