Welcome to the Infection Control Awareness (ICAO) course

Information in this online course is a general overview of Infection Control methods and procedures for Queensland Health employees.

Once you have finished this course, there may be more detailed, location-specific procedures which you must familiarise yourself with and follow. Your supervisor or line manager will be able to assist you with site-specific procedures.

There are activities and questions throughout the course to help you manage your responsibilities regarding infection control.
